He has studied a wide range of sword work including Viking Swords and shields, German Longsword, period Rapier and Sabre. He has developed a passion for film and television fight scenes. He has studied them at length as they often provide color and counterpoint to the stories being told. Its more than just wielding a sword and clanking them together. He found passion and purpose in each fight scene that added to the overall vision of the story. One of his favorite things to see in a fight scene is real documented techniques being used to effect. He claims that sometimes just the action of properly drawing a weapon can tell you volumes about a character. Jefferson can't wait to share his knowledge and love for fight scenes with other actors, directors and filmmakers so that he can help continue to train and bring authenticity to projects and realism to actors wanting to help carry on the legacy of days past.
