The Journey to Mastery: Patience is Your Greatest Power
Becoming an actor isn’t about a "quick fix" or a lucky break—it’s about the transformation of the person behind the performer. At SRS, we honor the time it takes to truly grow. Whether you are a teen discovering your voice or an adult reclaiming your passion, great artistry requires the patience to let your skills take root.
Trust the Process, Find Your Peace
It’s natural to feel nervous. Those butterflies aren't a sign of weakness; they are a sign of untapped energy. Through our "Self-First" approach, that stage fright slowly dissolves as you replace it with something unshakeable: Trust in yourself. We don’t rush the journey. We build your foundation step-by-step—in the studio and with hands-on home practice—until your confidence becomes your second nature.
Results That Matter
Our students don't just "learn to act"—they see real-world evolution. Within 4 to 6 months, our actors are booking projects and hitting milestones they once thought were years away. Because every artist’s goal is unique, we balance high-energy group dynamics with personalized, individual coaching. We aren't just teaching a class; we are helping you architect the specific career you want.
Current Knowledge from Working Pros
You aren't learning from textbooks; you’re learning from the front lines. Our instructors are active, working professionals who bring the latest industry trends directly to you. They are committed to bringing out the absolute best in you, so you can stop worrying about the "how" and start enjoying the joy of the craft.
The First Step is You.
Acting is more than a career; it’s a way to grow in confidence, skill, and life. Let our team guide you through every stage of your evolution.

The Artist’s Year: A 12-Month Journey to Mastery
True mastery isn't a sprint; it’s an evolution. At SRS, we’ve mapped out a year of transformation that centers you as the source of your art. By the end of this year, you won’t just have "acting skills"—you’ll have a professional identity built on a foundation of self-trust. All artists develop at their own rate, depending on their current experience and mastery of self.
Phase 1: The Internal Foundation (Months 1–3)
  • Centering the Self: We strip away the "performance" to find the authentic human underneath. You’ll learn to quiet your inner critic and replace nerves with a grounded, sensing presence.
  • The Instrument: Like a musician tuning a guitar, you’ll begin tuning your body and voice to respond to your unique creative impulses.
  • The Result: Moving from "pretending" to truly being

Phase 2: The Emotional Architecture (Months 4–6)

  • Authentic Connection: Learn to use your own lived experiences to breathe life into a script. We build the bridge between your "Self" and the character.
  • Trusting the Impulse: This is where self-trust becomes second nature. You’ll begin taking bold, spontaneous artistic risks in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • The Result: A performance that feels honest and electric.
Phase 3: The Technical Edge (Months 7–9)
  • Industry Integration: Now that you are grounded, we introduce the "how-to." From script analysis to on-camera techniques and modern industry trends, we sharpen your professional tools.
  • Personalized Coaching: We dive deeper into your specific goals, providing further hands-on home practice to ensure your growth never plateaus.
  • The Result: Developing a professional-grade skill set tailored to you.
Phase 4: The Professional Launch (Months 10–12)
  • The External Breakthrough: When following the program, this is the window when our actors can see their biggest results—booking projects, signing with agencies, and hitting personal milestones.
  • The Audition Mindset: Master the "business" of acting without losing your joy. You’ll learn to walk into any room—or onto any red carpet—knowing you belong there.
  • The Result: Stepping into the industry as a complete, confident artist.
The end of the year isn't the finish line; it’s your debut SHOWCASE.

Robert believes that every actor's journey begins with the courage to be themselves. With over 20 years of experience as an actor, producer, and director, he has transitioned into one of the industry's most vital roles as a Casting Associate for Jeff Johnson Casting, Utah’s premiere casting office.

His producer's eye—honed through successful films picked up by major production companies—allows him to teach actors how to be the undeniable choice in any room.

Shawn believes that authentic performance is built on a foundation of absolute confidence and technical mastery. With over twenty years of experience in high-stakes environments, he brings a unique level of realism and safety to the SRS "Self-First" philosophy. For Shawn, the goal isn't just to look the part; it’s about finding the inner calm and presence required to command the screen or stage.

A veteran of Federal Law Enforcement, Shawn served fifteen years as a Federal Police Officer and SWAT Team Operator. This background allows him to mentor actors in the "art of being" during intense, technical scenes, ensuring that every movement is grounded in reality and safety.
