"The Ushers"

At SRS Performing Arts Academy, our Thursday Scene Study group has been working very diligently on a TV Series they have written, and we continue to develop. We have put on a play and filmed scenes for a trailer. We are currently putting the trailer together to pitch the project for future filming.

The project is called “The Ushers.” Ushers provide a path to enlightenment that brings awareness to current social issues our society is facing, like mental illnesses, suicide, racism, and poverty, to name a few.

THE STORY

The head Ushers of Flatline that reside in the 4th divide are the last of their kind.  They are developing a team from the Human race that is crucial to the salvation of Human Beings on planet Earth. An Usher helps bring troubled souls, in their last moments, past the Pinealization phase so they can move forward and find peace and redemption; they are the Human’s saving grace. Without this team of passionate, dedicated souls, the loss of numbers from the Human species between the divides will be catastrophic, leaving planet Earth a failing orb in the Universe.

Our students, past and present, have worked very hard on putting this together and are a dedicated, budding group of actors, writers, and filmmakers.
